In view of the latest development of the novel coronavirus infection, Agency for Volunteer Service (AVS) has decided to cancel the outdoor flag-selling activity on 7 March 2020 (Saturday) to protect the health and safety of volunteers, staff and the public. We would like to express sincere gratitude to our supporters and volunteers who have already registered as flag sellers.
“Gold Flag” Fundraising Campaign will continue! And the Top Fundraiser Award and Caring Award for corporations/organizations donating HK$50,000 or above will be maintained. We earnestly appeal your support through donations or ordering gold flags, and spreading the message to your families, friends and social networks. We target to raise HK$1.2 million for the promotion and the development of sustainable volunteerism.
Donors who have donated HK$100 or above will be given a specially designed gold flag / e-gold flag and complimentary 2-year Hong Kong Community Volunteers (HKCV) individual membership. Donor who is registered HKCV members as on 31 March 2020 will also receive a limited edition of “Thank You Volunteer! Organic Cotton Handkerchief.
