Please Support “AVS Hong Kong Island Flag Day”
Approved by the Social Welfare Department, the Agency for Volunteer Service (AVS) will hold a Hong Kong Island Flag Day on 18 April 2026 (Saturday). All funds raised will be used to promote and develop sustainable volunteerism in serving the underprivileged. We sincerely invite you, including but not limited to individuals, organisations, groups, schools, corporations, associations and chambers, to form volunteer teams to support street flag-selling or online flag-selling, and/or make donations in support of AVS. Together, let us promote the spirit of volunteerism, spread love and care to every corner of society, bring positive energy to build a caring and inclusive community. We aim to recruit 2,000 volunteers to participate the street flag-selling, and to launch an “Online Flag Selling Fundraising Campaign”, enabling even more volunteers to join us to volunteer! We look forward to your enthusiastic participation! Let’s join hands to create meaningful fundraising achievements with love!

Date： 18 April 2026 (Saturday)Time： 7:00 am to 12:30 pmVenue：Hong Kong Island The Social Welfare Department has approved three organisations to hold Flag Day on 18 April 2026 in Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories respectively. The Agency for Volunteer Service (AVS) has been authorized to organise Flag Day in Hong Kong Island on that date.（SWD Public Subscription Permit：FD/R001/2026）
Become Street Flag Selling Volunteer
Both individual and group volunteers can be our “AVS Hong Kong Island Flag Day” Street Flag Selling Volunteer!
- AVS HKCV – Individual and Corporate Member Registration
- Family Volunteers Registration (both AVS HKCV members and non-members)
- Non – AVS HKCV Members and Groups Registration
Remarks: Under the terms of the Public Subscription Permit, street flag selling volunteers must meet the following requirements:
- Volunteers must be over 14 years old, or children under 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian; and
- Holders of a Hong Kong Birth Certificate or a Hong Kong Identity Card (Including their parents or guardians); and
- Permitted to participate in volunteering in Hong Kong according to Hong Kong Immigration Ordinance.

Individuals or organisations raising the highest amount of donations will be listed on our "Top Fundraiser Award - Individuals (Online)" and "Top Fundraiser Award - Organisations (Online)" leaderboards.
