               第10 屆義勇獎                                 10  Heroic Volunteer Award
               本局於2009年設立「義勇獎」，以表揚                      AVS established the Heroic Volunteer Award in 2009 to commend
               憑著無比勇氣，冒著生命危險，成功                         citizens who have demonstrated great courage and fortitude in
               拯救別人的市民。在2019國際義工日                       risking their own lives to save others. At the IVD Recognition
               嘉許禮上，共有3位市民獲得嘉許，包括                       Ceremony 2019, Mr John Lester Blaney, Mr Chan Ho Hin and
               John  Lester  Blaney先生、陳顥軒先生及            Mr Cheng Kin Ho were presented the Award. Mr Blaney bravely
               鄭健豪先生。Blaney先生見義勇為，                      protected  and  rescued  an  injured  woman  from  assault,  and
               保護一名遇襲負傷的女子免於繼續                          Mr Chan and Mr Cheng extinguished a fire in a dessert shop to
               受襲；而陳先生及鄭先生則臨危不亂，                        stop it from spreading and causing serious damage and casualty.
               合力破門進入一間發生火警的甜品店，                        The selflessness demonstrated was exemplary.
               將火勢及時制止，免於釀成
               嚴重的火災及人命的傷亡。
               他們無私無我的助人情操，
               深受讚揚。
